COLOURWORXX is an experimental multimedia exploration of colour from Colour Your City

A full-spectrum exploration of colour around the world, exploring real and imaginal cities, landscapes, design, music, culture and the arts.

Join the voyage, which so far has encompassed radio and events, with much more to come.

  • Social art origins: We were supported by the Social Art Network and Kickstarter – as part of their joint initiative to launch social art projects on the platform – to launch a crowdfunding campaign to distil and expand our knowledge around colour.

  • Spatial design and the emergence of Pink Portals: We took our thematic starting point from a spatial design project for us at The Cause. We curated and produced a radical transformation which saw artist Antonis Papamichael transform a black box room into a pink neon CAD-gaming-rave space. We programmed a launch event centred on art and music across disciplines, and later on a fashion shoot and immersive play space.

  • Radio show: We had a regular show on Netil Radio which is one of London’s top community stations. The shows are genre-fluid; often with special guests for Colour Chats (from sound healers to artists, architects and musicians), plus colour news and musings. Enjoy the archive (link below!).

  • More incoming… Antonis Papamichael has worked up stunning concept artwork, and we’re onto the next phase of this journey… We can’t wait to share more with you!
